Practical, candid support for experienced professionals navigating redundancy, progression, career change and repositioning

Good people are often badly presented. Next Move Advisory exists to help experienced professionals explain their value clearly, credibly and with the right level of impact..

Our Mission

Next Move Advisory is designed for mid-career and senior professionals, people facing redundancy or restructuring, professionals moving across sectors or functions, and experienced people who know they are stronger than their current CV suggests. Many experienced professionals have real substance but struggle to explain their value clearly on paper or in person. Their CV is too task-based. Their LinkedIn profile is vague or dated. Their experience sounds operational when their contribution is strategic.

That matters, particularly when the stakes are high: redundancy, restructuring, a move across sectors, a bid for promotion, or the need to reintroduce yourself to the market with confidence.

.

“Next Move Advisory has helped me make sense of my value, my brand, my offer & my ambition. They inspire me to care for my career.”

Why Clients Choose Next Move Advisory

Experienced Judgement

Clients come to us for judgement, not guesswork. We bring a mature, commercially aware view of careers, transitions and professional positioning, helping people make better decisions about how they present themselves and where they go next.

Better positioning, not generic coaching
This is not generic career coaching or recycled CV commentary. We help clients understand how they are currently landing, where they are being undersold, and how to position their experience more clearly, credibly and at the right level.

Candid advice
We are direct, honest and constructive. That means telling clients what is strong, what is weak, what is unclear and what needs to change, without padding, flattery or vague reassurance.

Human insight, not AI churn
Good career decisions require judgement, nuance and context. We use real human insight to understand the person behind the paperwork and to shape advice that is thoughtful, specific and commercially credible, rather than mass-produced or formulaic.
